While most of our projects fall into an industrial category, we often perform services on projects that might be considered a "one-off" or a one-of-a-kind project to meet clients' needs. We embrace these challenges to support our clients and have completed many specialized jobs that we are proud to have been a part of.

Railroad Products
Description: Irondale oversaw two projects for railroad cross tie plants. The first being an upgrade to existing equipment within the facility and the other being a full turn-key project for a new line for production of cross ties, including adding a new rail spur.

Scope: Irondale upgrade work included; creosote high pressure cylinders, green tie drying area, new finish and storage facility.

Clanton, AL
Scope: Site preparation, concrete foundations, building erection, equipment setting, piping, and electrical. Also, oversaw installation of new rail spur within the facility.
Paper Mill Conveyor Upgrade
Description: Plant upgrades for an outdated wood chip conveyor system at an existing paper mill. This work was completed around on-going production, and integrated during a regularly scheduled outage.

Scope: New air belt equipment, concrete foundations, conveyor bent install, motor and gear setting, chutes and ducts. This equipment was installed around on-going production, and integrated during a regularly scheduled outage.
Coke and Coal New Dryer Install
Description: Irondale installed a new dryer and associated equipment (control room, baghouse, crusher, screener, etc.) at an existing coke and coal processing plant. Done in coordination with the rest of the plant expansion work.
